CCTV Installation

CCTV Installation

CCTV installation involves setting up surveillance cameras and related equipment to monitor and record activities in a specific area. A typical CCTV system includes cameras, network cables, a Network Video Recorder (NVR) or Digital Video Recorder (DVR), storage devices, and a monitor for viewing footage. The installation process begins with assessing the site to determine the best camera locations for maximum coverage and security. Cameras are then mounted strategically at entrances, corridors, parking areas, and other critical points, while cables or network connections are properly routed to ensure reliable data transmission.

Once the physical installation is completed, the system is configured by assigning IP addresses to cameras (for IP systems), setting recording schedules and connecting the system to the internet for remote monitoring. Proper testing is done to ensure that all cameras provide clear images and that recording and playback functions work correctly. A well-installed CCTV system improves security, deters criminal activities and helps organizations and homeowners monitor their premises effectively.
